Registered patients can schedule appointments online through our secure booking system.

Appointment Booking/Prescription Refill Policies:

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please cancel at least 12 hours in advance.

Online Bookings

• If you book online and do not cancel in advance, your online booking privileges will be suspended after TWO no-shows.

• A $50 no-show fee will also apply and must be paid before your next appointment after TWO no shows.
  (Online bookings can be easily cancelled by the patient themselves online by going to their confirmation email if you have any problems with that call and leave a message)

Phone Bookings

• If you book by phone, the $50 no-show fee will apply after two missed (NO SHOW) appointments without cancellations at least early morning, on the same day. 

•  Cancelling with enough notice allows us a chance to book another patient in need same day.

We kindly remind all patients that missed appointments could have been used by others in need of care.

Prescription Refill Policy

• Patients are responsible for ensuring their pharmacy submits refill requests at least 7 days before medications run out.
• Late or same-day refill requests require additional administrative review and may be delayed or subject to a non-insured administrative fee, in accordance with CPSO guidance.
• If a refill is urgent, patients must book an appointment with Dr. Al Khatib or attend Dr. Al Khatib’s own after-hours clinic (see website for schedule).
• Same-day refills for controlled medications are not provided. Pharmacy will need to call doctor and the patient may be charged the administrative fee by the pharmacy.
